If Pacquiao was the size of GGG, GGG would win, if GGG was the size of Pacquiao Pacquiao would win. The crazy fast movements of Pacquiao would physically not be possible at 160. If GGG was smaller he would be faster than at 160 however nowhere near the crazy fast Pacquiao was. Pacquiao would maul him sooner or later imo.
If prime GGG fought a prime Barney at dinosaur weight, I think Barney wins. If prime Barney fought GGG at 160, GGG by KO. :tired
GGG would time Pac. His chin would take Pac's power; but Pac wouldn't. It's a question of the better chin ( and boxing brain) wins.
I would say that Pac will outwork him. At the worst of the Pac hype he was KOing Leonard and humiliating Pryor. Pac stans were going full re****ed mode. Now things done change. Pac is almost a bum that loses every fantasy match up. Matter of fact is in his prime he was ridiculously fast, hit very hard and had an iron chin. GGG is the better boxer and will time Pac be he is not counter puncher like JMM. The jab will be his most important weapon in this fight. But in his prime Pac was able to neutralize fighter with very good jab. The fight will be more like Morales-Pac but Pac will narrowly outpoint him and outwork him. Both fighters will be a bloody mess by the end of the fight.
If Pac was the same size as Golovkin, he would be slower and fight as a MW. Those "if" comparisons are not valid.
Why would Pacquiao be slower at Middleweight. We've seen that guys from 160-168 can be just as fast as the featherweights. I don't think size slows you down until you're at least a LHW.
This. If lets just say Manny were 5`10 and not 5`6 with the same speed and actually more power since he`d be bigger he wouldve cleaned out EVERYBODY from 130-160 including Floyd. It wouldnt even be fair to put the manny package in a fighter that size.
