GGG must be brave enough to fight him at 175, Andre Ward will be much much bigger than GGG.
He can walk through with his punches.

At what weight? Tough for anyone to hang with Ward and his mauling/grinding style...

GGG aint stupid, and you would have to be nuts fighting Ward after the Kov fight...To many obstacles to over come and under hand stuff. How can anyone say "neutral judges isn't fair " and think that's fair.......Its blatantly not a level playing field, hes said it in so many words right there !

If GGG beats Canelo that will be his legacy. Whatever Canelo does after GGG will only look better for GGG.

At least that is the logic behind Floyd's cheerleaders. If it's good for Floyd then it's good for GGG.

Golovkin would become an ATG if he beat Ward.

Golovkin has been one of the most influential and definately the most dominant mw of his era. Canelo win will sement his legacy. Everything he does after is plus.

Hagler never went up in weight...neither did many ATGs. The question is what options are left for Canelo after losing to GGG? Fight lemiux , Charlo..etc?

His name is so big that he can barely crack 150k ppvs. Ward fights 15lbs north of GGG and has been fighting there for nearly two years. Im a ward fan but Ward has better more relevant fights at lhw and a fight with GGG is purely a cash grab if GGG ups his popularity if he beats Canelo. I see no reason for this fight to happen any time soon. If GGG beats Canelo there will problably be a rematch unless he wipes the floor with CAnelo. If so he wants to unify all the titles then he can move to 168 and look to make a couple big fights there. Then he can look to making a fight at 170lbs against WArd but this would happen around two or more years from now. By then both guys would be past their best. I think Ward beats GGG but thats just my humble opinion.

He now sits atop just about every credible p4p list without much dispute. His name is back in the spotlight. PPV buys aside his name rings bells. Golovkin himself cant crack 150 either. Not many guys can really sell PPVs. Loeffler said if Ward became relevant again it would be an important fight. Ward is now relevant again even though I think he always was.

168 seems to be an excuse that is used when its convenient or when it pertains to not fighting Ward. When others suggested he should move to 168 because of a lack of fights at 160 people said that division was dead anyway. Now all of the sudden its hot? He could have fought Ward at 168 last year instead fought Dominic Wade and Kell Brook. I swear some people dont wanna see this guy in the ring with Ward ever.

Yes from a strictly monetary and protection standpoint there are other avenues Golovkin could go. But I said for his "legacy".

His name is back in what spotlight? Sure in the sport but amongst the ppv audiences he barely registers. GGG is poised to be part of a big ppv event which if he wins in spectacular fashion will most likely propel him to a ppv seller. 168 seems to be an excuse to you but thats how you want to see it. Does it make any sense that GGG should move up 15lbs + rehydration to fight Ward after CAnelo? Why would he do that? The only way you make that fight is if its a big money fight. Right now it is not. YOu are blinded by your hate and simply want to see GGG lose. I myself want to see the best fights available and right now GGG is fighting CAnelo at 160lbs and thats all that matters. Ward needs to solidify his own legacy by fighting the fights that matter like Stevenson, Beterbiev and possibly a third fight with Kov.
