Well, according to Golovkins fans, Ward wasnt even gonna show up to fight Kovalev either time and was going to be savagely KO'd either time if he did. Yet Ward is 2-0 vs Kovalev and the respected boxing gives him full credit for his stoppage victory.

Arguably? Well sure. Ive seen guys argue Maidana won the first Floyd fight. But he didnt.

By comparison, 3G gets ultraexaggerated into all sorts of things he is nowhere near accomplishing like -

1. he will break bhops record (when hes still in single figure defences!)
2. He is an ATG (when hes not even a case for elite yet)
3. He is considered beating LHW kings, when hes never stepped into the weight category...
4. He gets considered for fantasy fights against people he has no business getting in the ring with.


Noone ever makes up this stuff about Crawford! As if its because hes "American". The problem is actually that 3G is east euro!

BTW my thread isnt biased. Its something that Loeffler and company claimed. They said if Ward won and became relevant its a fight they would like to make. This was of course because they were feeling some heat for avoiding a fight at 168 and fighting Brook and Wade instead. But they still said it. Now you want to claim bias?

Heres the part where you probably say "BU BU BUT Ward said he'd fight heavyweights". Well ya, he said it would have to be the right guy. Technically Tony Bellew is a HW that owns a decent HW win. I have no doubt he would fight Tony Bellew.

 

A challenge means a potential L. And these guys wont be able to live with themselves if someone hangs one on him.

On the opposite end people who like Ward were looking forward to seeing him fight Kovalev. And when it was controversial the first time they were licking their chops for Andre to settle it.
