Is it just me or does anyone else find the way Oscar & Bhop creep around GGG at the Canelo pressers slightly sinister lol a lot of vested interests riding against a GGG UD here.. Needs to really **** him up! Stoppage! As for Charlo.. If GGG wins I suspect he walks away. Charlo doesn't give GGG a signature win or a super fight. Canelo does! Charlo would be a step back from Canelo. Not a fight anyone is clambering for.

If he kos canelo or beats the breaks off him to where its a lopsided wide ud there is no reason for a rematch.

He should unify with saunders because his excuse for staying at 160 was "all the belts", he should stand by that.

If he can unify, take an easy title defense, then fight charlo. The sanctioning bodies are very fickle nowadays and wont let him delay a mandatory defense for very long. Hr definitely doesnt want to be stripped and be perceived as weak to protect his legacy. If he can beat charlo, give jacobs a rematch and retire if he wins convincingly. I dont think anyone will complain if he does that. Maybe one last hurrah against lara and/or lemiux to add icing on the cake. By then he'll be 37/38 and wont have anything left to prove in his division.

If hes really ambitious, move up and fight groves or whoever is the man at 168 to become a 2 weight class champ. That would skyrocket him to ATG status for sure (if he isnt already aftet clearing out 160). But stopping after canelo? Nope, that is not gonna fly if he is truly chasing the shadows of monzon and hagler.

Charlo can fight Jacobs to build up the fight. That would sell big in New York. The winner gets GGG

As a fan I'd love to see Charlo versus GGG however it really doesn't make to much sense for GGG high risk low reward.
