If GGG Can Hand Pick His Opponents Why Cant Floyd Fight Berto?

Yeah all the big names have been lining up to fight other dangerous non-PPV fighters like Brook and Ward and Andrade and... oh wait....atsch

 

andre ward has been through the super 6 tourney and also been on hiatus....there also isnt a heck of alot at 168 at the moment for him

andrade is like 26 ...not 33....and andrade isnt being pushed hard as a main eventer by a network

brook is still relatively unknown to the us audience

ggg has been pushed heavily by hbo...and hes 33.....and has nothing on his resume to show for it....but he wants fights against floyd, canelo and cotto.....two of them are basically welterweights....canelo would be a pretty small mw...but none of them have a single fight at the weight ggg has fought his entire career at lol

 

It took Kovalev getting the legend to fight him before he got recognition. But at least he got the legend.

So far, GGGs,"legend" IE Froch, is nowhere to be found.

Looks like he's gonna need to jump right up to LHW and take our the legend, who will be instantly a corpse for the GGG HATERZ

 

Are you unable to understand simple facts?

Show me one person, who is quote "hall of fame" that is calling out GGG and who is simply avoiding? Just one... I'll wait.

However, all the big names from 154-168, you can see articles or even watch videos of them being asked about GGG and the response is "we'll see" or "yea I'll fight him in a few years"

So why is it, when facts are so clear and right in front of someone's face, the only response is "nah, don't believe it"

This shouldn't even be debatable, and I'm not saying GGG is the greatest of all time or a HoF either, I'm just using very simple observational skills.

 

Ward wants to fight him at 168 not 164 but GGG doesn't want the fight.

PBF is the favorite over any fighter in the world 154 and down so I don't know where you're going there. I would agree he should get more scrutiny if he wasn't at the end of his career and hadn't fought any elite competition but he has. He has nothing left to prove.

Lastly Hopkins is fighting for money if you think he's not then you're fooling yourself the guy has absolutely nothing left to prove.

 

I'l tell you why. Because GGG is seen to be the guy ducked so when he picks somebody they just say well cotto won't fight him.... froch retired not to fight him.... etc. where as EVERYBODY will fight floyd and he picks and easy one....

 

undoubtedly he can. just why would anyone pay a dime to watch it?

 

So let me get this straight, GGG is not a big draw, or even a PPV star or even a PPV fighter yet... But thats the fight that Hopkins wants for the money... Even though there are more fights Hopkins could get, for more money... He's deciding to fight the dangerous GGG for the money... Hmmm

Although if I ask you why Floyd doesn't fight GGG, your response will be something like "high risk low reward cause GGG is not a household name." You can't have it both ways.

Floyd, in the eyes of most would either be favored only slightly or probably not at all against GGG... To boxing fans at least.

Wards biggest win was against a fighter at a catch weight correct, so again you can't have it both ways.

There aren't any good hall of fame caliber guys around his division who arent welterweights ........cotto is a welter .....canelo is a jr mw .....both guys want to fight each other for obvious money because they've built their brands.....and ggg who's been fighting nobodies want to call them out while they have a bigger and better plans....and ggg fans cry that cotto and csnelo want nothing to do with him.......because they have a bigger fight and are both smaller........when a guy closer to ggg's size will fight him they want a catch weight and just talk bs

 

So what big name fighters who you consider talented and/or big names are trying to make a fight with GGG? It's a simple question with a simple answer.

 

Hopkins is willing to fight GGG because there's no one left to fight at 175 and 168 for any real money. Froch is probably retired and Hopkins said he would never fight Ward. If he was seeking a dangerous opponent one in which he would have no chance of beating he would challenge Ward not GGG.:deal

I would love to see PBF-GGG at 154 but after the fight was made people would say PBF drained GGG because he never fought at 154 before he wouldn't get any credit anyway.

Ward will fight him....he just has to come to him in weight .....

But just like any other fighter ggg doesn't want a high risk fight that might derail his myth and gravy train.....which is my point .....he's just like every other fighter .....they will choose carefully and not take on any challenge just because people want them too.....they'll fight froch at 168 but want 164 for ward (sounds like pac/oscar&shane).......they won't risk that .......which is fine......just be real about it and stop calling cotto (a frigging welter) a woman for not wanting to fight a career mw

And dint give me the well cotto has ggg's belt garbage .....nobody cares about that belt.....if cotto drops it and ggg beats heiland for it were at square one....ggg just bat another bum for a vacant strap and we know nothing more than we already did about ggg

 

haglers best fights were all against smaller fighters. duran was a blown up lightweight!

 

maybe because Golovkin make a million to million and a half at most and Floyd make 50 plus millions, He need to fight the best with out a doubt. If the fight was in 2010 then I'm ok but Berto is a faded fighter.
