I think both sides of the argument have some validity to it, on the one hand GGG was the one who until called on it said anyone 154-68 can get it. Its not unreasonable to want/expect him to follow through with it, when given the opportunity for his biggest fight.

On the other hand technically Alvarez is a MW Champ and it's completely reasonable to expect a MW Unification to take place at the MW Limit. Neither is really right it wrong in there position its all a matter of who you choose to side with or your agenda.

 

Just to be clear, the MW limits are 155(low end) and 160(top end) so the fight can take place anywhere between those limits and still be considered a MW fight.:deal

 

Maybe you should see what WBC said about weight between Cotto Geale catch weight and if Geale came in at 160. and quit acting stupid MW title fight you can weigh 120lbs if you wanted to the maximum weight is 160 there is no minimum in professional boxing hence floyd held a title at 154 despite fighting at 147. atsch
