I personally wouldn't be surprised, GGG took some hellacious shots last fight, I mean he's got a good chin but there's nothing to guarantee that one of those couldn't knock him out if Canelo manages to land them in the next fight. But yes, ESB will explode, many people will go into hiding, egos busted etc..
I'm expecting him to lose, sad to say... To Father Time as much as Clenelo. I think the signs are there and this will be his last fight.
Yeah I think so as well, for me GGG's prime was 2012-2015. The signs have been there for a while now. Not to say he's shot or anything like that but he's probably about at 65% to 70% of what he was in that time period. At least IMO. Many will disagree with that and that's fine.
The best chin in the game at the moment. Canelo tampered his gloves with concrete and was on the finest steroids a Mexican could inject, whilst landing his best power shots on GGG's chin and still GGG ate them up like were freshly served boiled eggs. There isn't a chance he gets knocked out. The best hope Canelo has is for one of his cartel bought judges to give him the decision if he survives the 12 rounds.
He's not getting stopped. Canelo would have to insist on Ian John-Lewis, Howard Foster or Terry O'Connor being the ref for that to happen. But if he loses on points, I hope people won't run to here claiming a robbery. Unless it is a robbery, than that will be fine....
Saw some training vids and canelo doesn't look as thick as he was, looks like he lost muscle which probably equals strength which could be a result of being forced clean under the mic. If he REALLY does come in clean this fight, it wont' last more than 6 rounds, GGG aging or not. Looks like Canelo is working on speed, so expect him to run even more in this fight.
