If GGG is such a star Why Come has he not been on PPV like Canelo?

Sweetsciguy/mvc is running away with it but this guys catching up.

 

Boxing is extremely popular in mexico. If GGG were of mexican descent then he would surely be a PPV star at the moment.

 

Fact is he's not a star but HBO are trying the hard sell in the hope of making him a star. It may or may not work. Golovkin needs big names to go up against if he is to really make it.

Pac had Morales, Marquez, Hatton, De La Hoya and a potential fight with Mayweather to get him the attention and the fans. Golovkin really only has Cotto, Froch and maybe Canelo to give him that exposure to a wider audience. Without those fights happening it doesn't matter hard HBO push he'll never get to that next level.

Because he isn't Mexican or American, far harder to get big fights and become a ppv star if your not, Pacquiao is the only guy i can think of who is a ppv star ever not from America, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Britain.
