If GGG takes a KO/TKO loss does that STOP him from reaching HOF?

No. And only way Drugnelo beats GGG if GGG gets old/shot overnight.

Getting stopped by a spaghetti hitting 154 pound midget certainly won't make his case any stronger. :eeek:

Regardless of whether he wins or loses to Canelo, his longevity and dominance at the top will surely guarantee him future HOF status. Moreover, it could be argued that many have been granted HOF status who achieved less in their respective careers than Golovkin.

No. Better question is when GGG beats Canyellow ONCE AGAIN are you going to STFU about
    him?

    Not a chance.
He’ll disappear for a while and/or start ridiculous threads on how Canelo was too small to begin with, GGG dragged him up and then couldn’t beat decisively.

It certainly would affect his overall legacy, but he's probably a lock for the HOF already based on longevity and dominance.

I think it would effect the argument made by those that compare his toughness to Hagler`s, Marvin took punches all night from a harder hitting light middle in the form of John Mugabi, Canelo would have scored a lot of shots against Hagler but he doesn`t punch with the force of Hearns, that fight cemented Hagler`s legacy.

No. He has equalled (some say beaten) the longest defence streak in MW history. That's a lock for HOF even if Canelo knocks him out and he never boxes again.

Golovkin was never in any actual danger of losing the first fight ( not counting corrupt filthy inferior judges)

What makes you think Canelo can knock out Golovkin in the rematch? What makes you think Golovkin will lose the rematch?

    Porque?

He’s already equaled or eclipsed Hopkins’ run at mw, so no. If he were an American he’d be on the cover of Sports Illustrated wearing a crown.

If he makes it in or doesn't make it in to the hall of fame it doesn't hinge on him winning this fight or not.
