If GGG takes a KO/TKO loss does that STOP him from reaching HOF?

I think his impending win over Canelo will erase all doubt

Have you seen some of the fighters in the HOF.GGG is a lock to make it.

 

Never understood the big deal about the HOF; IMO HOF is about as relevant and important as the Ring and/or Lineal title* (*when it's spurious that is, eg..Ali-meaningful...Fury-meaningless) .... now...ATG is all together different and far superior. Historically decided by fans and pundits-- it's 'only' conceptual and devoid of gongs in itself--but far more meaningful. A legendary, truly great fighter transcends a ballot in Canastota and doesn't need it. Like...did a Knighthood really validate Paul McCartney's place in music? Sure. It's nice but no biggie. I like it's existence.... but principally I think of, say, Alexis Arguello being an ATG, not a HOFer

Still don't get the credibility the HOF gets. Why care? Most of my heroes are classed as all time greats anyway...beyond that, sticking them in the 'all new Mickey mouse club' (yes I googled that) honorary members gang- really wouldn't bother me. ATG- anything beyond is fluff...nice to have fluff...but still fluff.

Doesn’t matter what “they” think as they’re so out of touch and their opinions so against the general consensus and those whose job it is to report on boxing that they only stand for something if it involves loving Canelo or hating Golovkin?
Good example when Golovkin was due to fight Jacobs Roy Jones said that GGG could beat Jacobs with one arm ie his jab,just thought it puts to rest some on here who don’t recognise a jab like his can win rounds,thing is theyed have a valid point if Canelo matched him with his own jab but it’s common knowledge that Canelo doesn’t have much of a jab.

 

He needs this win. He needs a signature win.. I know he got that disputed draw, but he needs that W over Canelo! His dominance & reign are impressive but there isn't a great fighter on it. Except Canelo... Beating a 2.0 Canelo twice (in most people's eyes) are the two best wins a fighter has on the 'p4p' list IMO...
