Golovkin is a small middleweight.

He should pursue a fight with Cotto, Mayweather, Canelo, Lara, Vanes, Quillan, etc.

If it was okay for welterweight Mayweather to fight the light welterweight Hatton and the much smaller lightweight Marquez, why is it not okay for GGG to fight Vanes or Lara?

 

The guy seems to geting quite popular very soon the fans will demand the other fighters to stop ducking him.

 

I'd like to see him fight Canelo, Lara or Qullion, or even Dirrell.

Why all of a sudden people are saying that because he is a pure middle weight that he shouldn't move up but it's ok for him to move down. Then in the same breath say that Floyd who is a natural welter and fights at 154 should move up to 160 and would be called a punk if he moved down to 140. Meanwhile, Canelo's ***** ass is coming in at 165-175 every fight and people is ok with him fighting at 154. The hypocrisy on this forum is amazing.

1)He IS a pure MW…only go up or down in weight for a PPV.
2) who's calling on floyd to move to MW?? maybe to rematch cotto or alvarez…a guy he already beat who he's taller and longer than.
3)Pac is moving down to a natural weight of 140 - nobody would hate on mayweather going down to 140.
4) who cares if canelo comes in at 171…let a guy fight at whatever weight he can get down to…but don't force a guy to move up.

Every middleweight I've seen him fight he was bigger than them.

Mayweather is fighting in his fifth weight class. His current weight class is the equivalent of Golovkin fighting at cruiser weight or Heavyweight.

Why are you afraid of Golovkin moving up?

There is nothing uncommon about fighters moving up.
