In the first place, how do we expect Glen to beat Travis cloud. Much as Glenn is not a pushover, he cannot much the power of Cloud. No way.

I don't know about easily better. I would put Johnson ahead on resume alone. Glen's fought everyone at LHW and has some nice wins as well as having been robbed several times.

    McGuigan's resume is ****

I don't personally think they're comparable in terms of quality. Keep in mind, Glen won the light heavyweight title after challenging for the middleweight world title and super middleweight world title. He was a top fighter in his three weight classes before winning a title. He also fought a razor thin classic with a prime Dawson in their first fight that could've gone either way when much past his best. Do you think Woods does that? I mean, you might, I don't personally. And if he were to pull off the upset against Cloud, then I think it goes from difference of opinion about them being similar in quality for potential HOF status to them obviously differing in quality in all reasonableness. I consider Johnson a much better all-around fighter than Woods, with the better achievements so far. In terms of just FAME...I don't even think there should be a contest here. Johnson's career>>>Woods' career for fame.

Nope. Its not like Cloud is some outstanding fighter. With that said, I like Johnson a lot.

i love gatti and the way he fights but let's be realistic, he's not a top level fighter. i think back to rocky when creed told rocky, when he said i'm a great fighter but you put on great fights

Thanks for everyone's responses. It looks like most of you think he's not HOF worthy.

Boxing is a sport. Sport is entertainment. Gatti (participant in Fight of the Year FOUR times) = HOF worthy.

    Glen Johnson no.

No, bit like Frankie Randall, a solid vet who has some excellent wins.

Who would have thought putting a 175lb Roy Jones to sleep fior a week wouldn't be enough?

if he does then there should never be a debate for Gatti getting in!
