The Hall of Fame is about fame. Not achievement. Anyway, the criteria for entry is a load of bollocks. The fact that Naseem Hamed isn't in there, yet Barry McGuigan is, discredits the whole thing.

As for Glen Johnson, he's a warrior and I like him. But what's he done that distinguishes him from every other fighter of his kind?

If he was the first and only guy to have KTFO Roy Jones, then maybe, as things stand, no.

This is a hall of FAME right. Im guessing if your as famous and popular as gatti that you should get in

Glen Johnson beat Tarver, Jones, Clinton Woods... i don't know how much more a contender can do

Glen's got Barry beat on resume (Barry's in more because of popularity and social impact), but his accomplishments simply aren't up to snuff with the other 3.

There's also guys that have better arguments like Ken Overlin that have Glen beat both resume and accomplishment wise, and still aren't in.

And this isn't getting into all the active boxers or boxers that have recently retired that are due to get in.

Hall of Fame in boxing is a freaking joke cause most fighters that are in it or in the future are not even great fighters. Look in the nba, nfl, mlb <<They only have great players that retired to be in the hall of fame. I got much respect for Gatti but he was never a great fighter. He's only a warrior but that don't mean he's a hall of fame worthy.

Experience says that when people say this they actually mean six or seven fights that they didn't personally see at all, or can't remember if they did, but believe Glenn Johnson when he says he was robbed.

Can you specify which 6 or 7 fights you're including here and how you scored them?

No - Glen is a warrior but just simply not at the level at the HOFS.

Glen Johnson reminds me of the oldschool throwback fighters...He's relentless and will give anybody hell he fights...Glen may have a lot of losses but those losses can disputed (some of his losses can not all)

With that being said...I dont think he did enough to get into the HOF.

Why would you think a single fight would qualify you as being HOF worthy?

I would say no as of right now, but if he wins and Cloud goes on to have a great career then i would have to say yes. He already has some solid wins Jones Jr. , Tarver, Harding, Woods. So I would say a win over Cloud will go a long way, IF Cloud turns to be a really good fighter after this fight.

Absolutely untrue. The HOF would reach its all time low if annobolic steroid abusers such as Roy Jones jr & Shane Mosely are ever inducted.
Hell both juicers fought & won while juiced up yet received no punishment whatsoever. Can you ever see Ben Johnson getting into the atheletic HOF ???? Why should those two cheaters be any different?

Whether or not Glen Johnson is Hall-of-Fame worthy won't be based on what happens tomorrow.
