As a tournament, it's been disappointing (no fault of Showtime). It has still done well at getting some interesting fights made with yet more to come. Froch vs Abraham should be an absolute war; I can't wait.

Johnson is an old-timer and tough as old boots.

He still has a shot against any of the three left yet he isn't a maassive puncher and is getting on, despite his engine suggesting otherwise. He'd make competitive and interesting fights against any of them, and he is a good gauge of a fighters quality in how they perform against him.

How does it work then? He fights Andre Ward in one semi-final? Who does the winner of Froch-Abraham face in the other then? And what if Bika, who will gladly play Wards smothering roughhouse game and has the power and wild clubs to do damage in spurts at mid-range, a tough fight for Ward IMO, though I think he'll be more well-rounded and will win convincingly on points.

    WTF happens now?

As it stands, Johnson is good now because of his experience. This is the right age for him now

i think johnson got better with age and was at his peak when he fought jones, i think the 35-36 yo version of him would give allot of guys hell, the thing is he learned much from those fights and they developed him i agree that a johnson from 2000 at 168 would loose to most decent fighters at 168 but the same roadwarrior who fought jones at 175 and went back down to 168 would be a tough matchup for many of todays fighters at 168

I can't remember Cloud being hurt in the fight, but I do remember Johnson being rocked. And when did I say Johnson couldn't win if he was younger? I was pulling you up on why you think Johnson, who landed plenty of punches in his fight against Cloud with little effect, would knock Cloud out.

Love Baileys boxrecing, Johnson was also on the wrong end of some dodgy decisions.

The guy is an old-timer and o's in with a shot against Ward, as is Bika. He doesn't want to stick his head in the chest of these guys that's for sure.
