Would you buy stock in them? What if they even had options to invest more money on certain PPV events, with the chance of making a profit off the back-end revenue? (if the terms were favorable enough to your expectations). . .
So if one of your options as a stock holder (if you held enough), was to invest, say 50k towards promoting a PPV event, with the chance to make, say 75-100k if the PPV fight did "x amount of buys", you wouldn't think that would be sweet? Can you break down why it wouldn't be a wise investment? It does seem like a very risky business, but could also be very lucrative. . . Few promotional companies have succeeded, but the ones who have, hvae really made a killing.
Certainly not Top Rank. How could anyone ever trust in something with Bob Arum involved? I know I wouldn't.
It wouldn't be any money in it to be honest. It would be different if there was one promotional company that had all the fighters. Also PPV doesn't make enough for me to even earn that type of profit. Lets say 100 people invested 50k which is your example? Just wouldn't be a good idea.
