Golota was in no fit state to continue the fight with his injuries.

If I had been in his corner, I would have thrown the towel.

But he wasn't The day I beat Tyson s ass on I75 in Ohio, we fought until he finally apologize d to me. Golota was a paid COWARD period. Ripped off the public repeatedly.

I thought Tyson actually looked pretty good in the Golota fight much better then he looked later when he'd fight Brian Nielsen and then Lewis. I consider this fight a solid victory for Tyson I don't think Golota could've kept going on. If he did I think Tyson may have knocked him out or whos knows the fact of the matter is he was done at the point he gave up. Mental is a big part of boxing that can't be ignored Golota was dropped hard by Tyson who was bringing it and that was too much for him. If you look at this fight its actually one of Tyson's biggest wins even though being over turned for nonsense like marijuana use. I think Tyson was still a force to be reckon with early in the 2000s but was declining quickly and had nothing left by the time he fought Lewis.

Easy to say outside of the ring.

I'll agree to disagree and also say that a prime Tyson isn't necessarily beating Lennox. "The Lion" may very well win in the same fashion.

The only way Golota could have beaten Tyson was to rewind the entire fight.

If Golota would have moved, jabbed and clinched, and avoided damage in the first 5 rounds, Tyson would have faded.

But after Tyson landed some big shots, Golota's legs were gone and it was too late.

Agree with this. Tyson was a hard target for Golota. Golota should have fought more off the back foot, jabbed and tied him up.

I have no issue with Golota quiting in this fight considering how badly he was injured but what he pulled against Bowe twice makes me dislike him. You have to admit, his behavior was pretty erratic in big fights. Adamak or Michalczewsk were much better fighters for the good people of Poland to embrace.

Golata does not have the defense to deal with the kinds of punches Tyson throws. And I do not like Golata against the hitters because he is right in front of them and walking in. He is right there for left hooks and right hands and hitters do not even have to set things up.

Speaking of golata, that was some job former lh Adamek did on him.

Golota was way past his prime and washed up when Adamek TKO'd him.

I think he the right hand herniated a disk in his neck and he had a concussion too.
