The cut is irrelevant....... have you even seen the fight? Golota stuns McBride, Gololta throws a few punches that don't land, Kevin leaves the ropes and goes in for a hold then the ref comes in stares at McBride and stops the fight.......

Douglas had very good tools also. He was expected to beat Toney Tucker but folded under pressure. I can kind of see your point about Tyson. He was even more dominant than Wlad although Wlad would be the closest comparison.

The fact is if the fight wouldn't of been stopped, his eye would of been like Klitschko's in the Lewis fight. It was already nearly ****ed up. So you would rather have McCbride risk loosing his eyesight by contunieing the fight? Pshh..

Plus, McBride didn't even complain about the stoppage.

I don't see the compariso, at all.

Tyson was a huge favorite over Douglas, and Tyson was the undisputed, unified champion.

Golota will probably be about even odds against Maskaev, Peter, or Holyfield, and would only be a slight underdog against Chagaev and he'd be a pretty big underdog against Klitschko.

So Golota vs. Klit would be somewhat similar to Tyson Douglas, as far as one being heavily favored, but against all the others, Golota would not be an underdog, and would actually be favored to beat some of them. :good

I know I'd pick Golota to beat Oleg, Holyfield, and probably Peter, too.
