The 168 division is gaining steam again with Degale narrowly defeating Dirrell and Froch potentially facing GGG. If Golovkin beats Froch, a super 6 would be the perfect format to 'force' other fighters to face him as well as to bring Ward back in the game.

Ward, Dirrell, Groves, Degale, GGG and Stieglitz/Abraham.

You wouldn't really need to force SMWs to face Golovkin

I'm sure there are more than a few that are ready to face Golovkin since hes a fairly popular name and at SMW he won't be quite the force he was at MW

I still see Golovkin doing well at SMW though

GGG is not staying at SMW if the Froch fight happens. At least not at this stage.

    I agree.

I also think Ward would not want to do another Super Six since he already dominated one. There is really not a need for it. He is the best Super Middleweight and all the best have to go see him for the title.

Depends who enters. Apparently all the guys in the Super Six got chump change compared to what Bute was getting for fighting easier fights.

I would like to see the Froch fight, but I'd like to see Golovkin have a chance to clean out the MW division.

I think his record will end up a lot like Hopkins, who fought a lot of marginal guys leading up to the Trinidad fight. GGG will get more credit for the Geale, Rubio, Murray victories once he is able to get a shot at Cotto or Canelo.

That's because Bute was drawing 12,000 people in the stand and selling hundreds of thousands of PPVs in a 8 millions people market...

yeah I've seen every single one of those guys say they'd fight GGG except Abraham and Steiglitz who are too in love with each other

I don't want to see Dirrell and Abraham in the next Supersix @168
replace them with Braehmer, Chavez jr, Ramirez or Chudinov

Im not sure the S6 was successful enough for the promoters to want to do another one, tbh. It seemed like a lot of hassle for them, and not sure they would want to go through those hoops again for what didn't turn out as they hoped.

Then again, if each promoter has faith in their guys, they could still see it as a way to make their guy more bankable in the future.... so who knows.

I for one loved the S6 and would love to see something like in again soon.
