Maybe you should have looked at if there was a rehydration clause in Canelo Chavez before claiming there was one.

He came in at 173.6 lbs. He actually saved himself the sanctioning fee for the IBF when he missed the weigh-in completely vs GGG, but many were upset including a lot of GGG fans. Here's my question for you : Do you personally like the IBF's rule about a 10 lb rehydration limit in a same day weigh-in morning of the fight? Do you think in general it's more fair for fighters to have to stay within 10lbs of the limit the morning of the fight? Do you think those same day weigh-ins are a good or bad thing? I ask this because if I recall you were one of the people who criticized Canelo for rehydrating as much as he did back when he used to make 154, and I'm guessing you were upset when Jacobs didn't weigh-in for the IBF vs GGG.

That's not what I'm saying at all, that's what you're saying lol. I'm interested to find out what your opinion of rehydration limits / 10 lbs same day weigh-ins. I think you see my point about the ridiculousness of criticizing Canelo for rehydrating so much when he was at 154 to now criticizing him for agreeing to rehydration limits when fighting at higher weights. Hopefully I get a straight answer from you regarding this contradiction.

Fair enough, that actually makes sense that he would weigh more since I'm guessing there was no per-pound penalty when he fought GGG. At the same time just because Jacobs weighed 173.6 lbs the morning of the fight vs Canelo doesn't mean he couldn't have ballooned up to 185 by fight night. Jacobs probably ate and drank a lot of liquids throughout the day after weighing in at 173.6 in the morning. So he was probably about the same by fight night that he weighed vs GGG. Maybe a lb or 2 less but not anywhere near 10+ pounds less.

    He's the A side
    He doesn't need G he's already 1-0-1 with G
He's already allowed the diva to pick the ref, the judges, and gloves.
He already beat his body and face to a pulp

    He calls the shots

Do you need me to link to you the Abel Sanchez interview where he talks about how he pretty much hand picked the judges for the rematch and how after all that he has no basis to complain since he basically got to pick the ref and judges lmao.

I really don't care about what weights fighters weigh in at except for when its obvious that one fighter is using a weight stipulation to gain an unfair advantage over another eg: Canelo.
