...either Saunders or Jacobs (if mandated), or moves up to 168lb, my patience will run out. As a Golovkin fan, I will admit that. I understand Golovkin wants to unify all the belts and this would be great to see. However, if Saunders stalls, there simply isn't enough time to wait around. At 34 yo, that sharp drop can happen anytime. Canelo fight would be ok too I guess to grab that name. I just don't think Canelo wants anything to do with Golovkin for now. Lara, I really don't care to see this fight but if it will silence the critics and add to his resume then so be it. Otherwise, I don't care for it. I also don't think CEJ adds to much to his resume but from what I understand it's a big money fight in the UK. Eh, this one is a tossup. I really don't think there is any reasonable challenge for GGG at 160lbs. I want to see a fight where he, for once, will have to fight on back foot as he's being pressed by a bigger man. I want to see how he adapts to that. I think we'll see plenty of that at 168lbs. I think he would get dominated at 175lb. Eagerly waiting to see who they schedule for the next fight.
saunders and Jacobs wont fight him next im ok with lara, eubank or a good 168 guy like dirrell(haha yeah right like lil g would take that fight) or degale.....anything else is rubbish basically
GGG could fight all 3 mando's at the same time & it still would suck. MW division is utter SHIZZBALLZ
because this is the pros...and a loss damages lil gs brand......k2 and hbo have worked real hard lining up and approving bums to build a brand .....getting outboxed by dirrell would damage that..... I highly doubt lil g would ever step foot in the ring with dirrell with his career and money on the line
Maybe because they're 1-1 in the amateurs? Dirrell at this stage is a high risk, low reward fight for GGG. At 160 I'd like to see him against anyone out of Saunders, Eubank, Jacobs or Lara. He'd get a lot of credit from me for beating any of these guys.
lil g still thinks he might get a shot at canelo next year...hes not risking that by taking on a risky fight with a 168 guy that could possibly beat him......which is why he wouldn't fight dirrell
You're over reaching with your theories as usual. GGG out-boxed Dirrell at the Olympics and that somehow doesn't mean anything now? Because this is pros???? Huh?
True. If GGG beats Dirrell, no one gives a sh*t. If Dirrell or ANYONE beats GGG, they are intermediately catapulted to the top 5 P4P. So yeah, there is that.
I'd prefer, in this order: Saunders, Jacobs, Eubank JR, Canelo. I don't want to see Golovkin vs Lara at all because I think it's too easy for Golovkin. Lara has the talent but won't withstand the pressure IMO. I think he struggles at 175 depending on who he's facing and how acclimated he is to the weight. I'm glad you acknowledge that Saunders and Jacobs might avoid him, you're overly critical of Golovkin IMO. Whether it's truly what you believe or not, you come off as trolling. No hate man just saying.
Sort of agree with everything. I'd be "okay" with more people at 168 IF it was his plan to stay there and take on bigger fish. I'd be okay with like a Abraham or Ramirez. Also, you used "rubbish". I thought you were American lol.
Dirrell is the biggest hype jobs the demographical US fans want us to believe is some sort of unbeatable talent.
In this order Canelo Cotto (Last 3 fights were at MW(154.1-160) and only last a close dicision to Canelo and only half a year older than GGG) Saunders Jacobs Eubank Following have "called out" GGG so why not to shut up their fans Lara Charlo 1 Charlo 2 Andrade J Rock
I am American! and as usuall...the lil g legion of fanboys cant bring themselves to admit that dirrell even poses a threat...and theres a reason lil g wouldn't fight him!
