If Golovkin were a smart man, and K2 were a smart Promoter

    While they wait in their comfort zone to unify they should accept the challenge from Lara, make the non-title fight happen and demolish him at any weight above 150 he agrees to.

    This would allow Golovkin and K2 to kill two birds with one stone.
    1) Gain the best name on GiGi's resume to date

    2) Put a halt to all these Welterweights and JMWs coming out of the wood works challenging Little g at 155.

    But neither K2 or GiGi are too bright so I wouldn't hold my breath. They will very likely continue doing what they have been, sitting and waiting while GiGi becomes 34, 35, 36....

    K2 does not know what the hell that they are doing. They stay getting the D in the negoitations, they stay getting the D on PPV sells, and they are getting the D b HBO because Canelo is going to sell over 800,000 and GGG vs Wade will be on HBO Boxing After Dark.

    K2 has a fighter that has fans who don't want to see him challenged.
    I'd do the same thing if I were managing him..

    But have you noticed when HBO, other networks or fans list their greatest, Calzaghe's name is hardly ever men:lol:tioned.
    Joe never ever is mentioned on anyone's P4P list.
    But isn't it interesting that the two old guys he waited for the opportune time to face are always on everyone's list. :yep
