160 is not a weak division at all . It's just the Golovkin is so dominant .

160 is an exciting division .

Lemieux vs Willie Monroe would be good , Andy Lee vs Saunders is coming up .

Hassan N'Dam N'Jikam is tough as nails . Daniel Jacobs , Peter Quillin and half a dozen more all make for a competitive intriguing division with Golovkin on a different level .

To say the Middleweight division is boring is simply ignorant

Yeah, it is a valid point. Lemieux is more popular in Canada than Bumlovkin is in America.

Yeah, 160 is SOOO good that it's currently ruled over by a WELTERWEIGHT.

Boxing is a fringe sport in Canada . Lemieux is somewhat well known in Quebec , the rest of Canada he is unknown except to followers of boxing.

160 isn't boring, it's just an incredibly weak division.

So the sell-outs and broken records are because of the opponents, not Golovkin? Right... We'll just let the others on the forum judge your objectivity and correctness and leave it at that. lol

Canelo vs angulo and Cotto vs Martinez did 350 ppv buys each which is really good. If triple g did under 300 buys on a hbo ppv? Anybody with a brain would say it's not a success. If Golovkin is exciting, most avoided fighter and is putting up big hbo high numbers then again uner 300 ppv buys is not a success.

By "ruled over" you mean, of course, not fighting the best of the division and fighting the ones he is fighting (an injured, done champ and a drained GGG leftover) at catchweights.

Still doesn't change the FACT that middleweight is ruled over by a WELTERWEIGHT. :hi:

You're an idiot because the mw is clearly weak. Cotto aint a true middleweight and besides him, the guys in that division with ggg aint even remotely close to A level fighter. Andy Lee? really? lmfao. Peter Quillin? LMFAO!!! Monroe? LMFAO!!! Daniel Jacob whos still fighting bum fighters? LMFAO!!! <<That isnt weak?? FOH!

The exact same people who are trying to say GGG is ducking Ward now were saying it back when Ward was tied up in litigation and before, where K2 had OKed the bout to HBO. Its sad that facts and reasoning are so difficult for some people they close their eyes and brains and just start calling people nuthuggers for laying out the obvious.

Abraham was a terrible win at 168 btw, he was on a what 3 fight losing streak? That you cite him in this context shows how off kilter you are. You say "etc" as well, there is no "etc", Ward has exactly 2 top shelf wins - Kessler and Froch. Seeing as Froch had built his career instead of throwing in the gutter like Ward, K2 tried very hard to get a bout with him.

No way Ward is HOF yet, though I am sure he does have a bust prominently displayed on a pedestal at the Winky Wright School of Boxing Business.

The fact that GGG is filling arenas and going on PPV , and Ward is Mr BET shows that your statement that Ward does not need GGG but GGG needs Ward is also in fact fallacious. Your entire ana.lysis of what constitutes big fights will continue to be woefully inaccurate until you are able to correct your premises.

That K2 would try and open negotiations at all, while Roc is totally quiet... yet some blame GGG for "not wanting the fight" shows such an incredible amount of blind bias. People would do better to stop being so bitter that while Ward was suing, GGG was working and built himself to the point he no longer needs to get hosed by Ward in negotiations to make a big fight.

Middleweight division is not weak .

Keep watching though , as you gain maturity you might learn to think more and post less , not insult your superiors and develop objectivity.

I suggest you visit a boxing gym , lace on the gloves and learn to respect the sport and the athletes that devote themselves to the art of boxing.
