Can't have it both ways guys - you're arguing that Green's never beaten anybody but also claiming him as a prize scalp for Mundine!

Mundine's never beaten anybody of note and has made an artform out of ducking anyone of any note, including starving himself now to fight Medley instead of Geale!

lol.....fought Okte, Siaca & Kessler & showed not only the Aussie public but the world that he is only at best a dominant domestic fighter with limited ability in the ring.

I agree he hasn't beatin anyone of real note in fact he lost to the two main notable people he fought Ottke and kessler (he has proved himself to be a bit of a bum aswell).
However with that being said he has ruled in australia and i am from this country and there is no doubt he is the best in this country from middleweight to heavyweight. I also believe that he has the ability to be even better just the bad management over the years and now allowing him to move down (if he does it though good on him he will be a unique fighter if this works).
I dont see danny as a prize scalp but the australian public always make a big deal of Danny and to see mundine beat him was complete satisfaction for me. If the world and the australian public see mundine as an average domestic fighter at best and to have limited ability in the ring then where does that leave Danny green?????.

I dont believe he ducked Geale he just beat Geale so this argument for me is the same as the green - mundine bout does he have to prove himself by beating them twice, maybe they should make it interesting and get green and geale to fight then we would see the talent we have mixing it up with each other and not all just fighting mundine one after the other.

I would be interested to know who the fighters of note that he actually ducked and by that i mean i want facts that he ducked them and it didnt fall through because negotiations went wrong........I mean everyone acussed him of ducking Danny Green and when they fought no one gave him any credit for it however if Danny beat mundine they would make it a public holiday for all good white australians and they would change our national anthem to land downunder and make all do the ridgy didge sign when we say hi.

when they fight at light heavy and mundine beats him just as easily as the first time, they will all say green was weight drained again. because now hes grown into a cruiserweight:bbb:bbb

Mundine played rugby around the 85kg mark. Him fighting at light heavy, shouldn't pose a problem in theory.

However, him moving from 160 to 175 pounds in the space of one fight, imo would be a problem as he would have had no experience against a fighter at that weight, where size and body type certainly differ from middleweight.

If Mundine were to fight Green, he'd definitely need at least one tuneup fight around 175 pounds. I can't see Green fighting lower than 175, even at a catchweight between 168 and 175.

As for a fight with Green, I would only be interested if it was for a major world title. Green should fight Pascal next and beat him and then challenge Choc for the lightheavy title.

If Choc could win a world title from 154 to 175, I'd imagine that would be unprecedented.
