Should they then face each other? I say yes. It'd be a good fight between two young fighters who have both come off HUGE victories.

Pretty sure Froch is going to have Groves against the ropes like he did Bute smashing left hooks around his guard and having him hurt for a couple of rounds.

Well, I guess so. Do you think it likely?

However, in the far more likely event of them both losing, I still believe it would be a fight worth making. They are at similar(ish) stages of their careers, both fairly young up and comers. They've faced similar calibre opposition and will both just have had their first taste of the big time. Good matchup whatever the results vs Ward and Froch, I'd say.

I'd much rather see GGG vs Ward. I can't see Ward losing his next fight even though he's on his longest layoff and coming off surgery. He's a top class, well rounded P4P fighter.

Yeah, if they should manage that, why not face each other?

It would be a pretty fun match-up.

By all means let's indulge in a pleasant fantasy world instead of simply bracing for the impending reality of Ward vs. Froch II. :yep

I won't care because the day that happens will be the day I win the lottery, through a freak car accident end up better looking than before the crash, write an award winning novel and have a number 1 album

I can't see Groves beating Froch but, in an interesting twist, I can see him beating Ward.

He's got the right combination of speed, agility, power and boxing abilities to get through Ward's defence that many of Ward's other opponents lack. Groves would be able to get to Ward and with his very impressive power, would hurt him. Groves by 10th round TKO.

Plus Ward just doesn't have the power to trouble Groves.
