What under card fights would it have to have?

Eddie Hearn said that for this to be PPV it would have to have a massive undercard. Imagine if they had a show called battle of the Brits and if Barker or Burns win it could have one or maybe two of them on the undercard. It's unlikely Barker would fight as he would probably want a rest because of the injuries in the past, but with Ricky I read in an interview that he wants to fight as much as possible.

I personally would like it too feature Froch v Groves, Barker v Macklin, Burns v Crolla and then have the likes of Luke Campbell, Anthony Joshua, Callum Smith and Anthony Oggogo aswell.

I think it would need a world title fight to justify. But I think people will still buy this regardless. I think they will sell the fight to scrape decent numbers

Impossible to see Barker v Macklin on there.

Burns shouldn't be messing about with Crolla.

So many fights going on with Matchroom I'm not sure who is where! Regardless they need a secondary fight that is absolutely huge.

Hearn told us the same **** about a massive undercard for the Froch - Kessler fight and that was a pile of shite so don't believe everything you hear from Fast Car.

I think the groves card is heavily reliant on barker winning a world title. Kelly's out in October, quigg is on his own card, Mitchell isn't ppv worthy, the Olympians ain't ppv worthy. A lightweight matchup between crolla, Matthews, coyle or any of that lot isn't good enough.

Hearn needs barker to get the IBF title to stand a chance of passing this off as a ppv card.

    Froch groves
Barker vs macklin, murray, lee for IBF title
    Mitchell vs Matthews
    Selby
    All the 3 Olympians

Possibly if he has it on the same night as bellew fight he has 3 world title fights and good undercard.

Boxing fans are miserable, moaning and divas, so I think he knows the pressure is on to make sure that the froch card delivers. Especially if fury haye is a let down.

I actually think it's gona be a cracking fight but don't think it's a PPV, Groves isn't a big enough name, maybe if Groves had a world title and you could sell it as a big British unification fight. If it does go on PPV then a hope Eddie is true to his word and provides a 'monster' undercard.

Agreed in that if Barker gets the IBF, he'll be there to pump up the Groves/Froch undercard.

    Groves v Froch
    Barker defending his world title
Ricky Burns defending his world title
    Mitchell v Matthews
    The Olympians

Eddie would have pulled off a little master stroke with that one.

Good scrap if that comes off.

Thing with Macklin though, has he been in too many wars now? I don't think the GGG fight took that much out of him because he didn't get a prolonged beating. I rate Macklin but say that fight was to happen, Barker's confidence would be sky high, Macklins on the other hand wouldn't be.

They'd only choose Macklin as he's the easier option I guess?

Much prefer Murray and that would be a cracking fight. Would make Murray favourite for that.

I can't see them going for murray, barker murray is a show own it's ow. Whereas barker mackling is just a good bout that holds up a ppv card.

Completely forgot about burns....I think burns would be huge to pared to crolla.
