if guerraro Outclasses maidana.Khan would have to cook up something special

Guerrero should win. Hard to see Maidana beating him when he lost to Kotelnik. Or at least had a very close one with Kotelnik. The southpaw stance, the jab, the better speed, its going to be difficult for him.

How will Guerreros power be fine at 140?, there is absolutely no evidence to show that it will. He had Kat wobbled, Cassa on his arse, and Escowhatsit down twice and couldn't finish any of them where previously and at a lower weight he would have....wobbling someone and stopping them are two different things entirely. His power is degraded at 135 it will be even more degraded at 140

 

I reckon Maidana will be better suited with his awkward style to pressure Guerrero consistently where Katsidos could not.

Then 'The Ghost' will unravel. Although I wouldn't be surprised to see Guerrero keep it at his range and win again, carrying on the myth that he is destined for big things.

 

This is a very interesting match up, I think in Maidana last outing he overlooked Morales a bit and got a bit of a gift, but this time out we will see the real beast Maidana.

As for Guerrero this guy looks like the real deal, good straight punches, good jab, great straight right, and picks his shots well.

I am picking Guerrero to beat Maidana, and even Khan should be really carefull picking Guerrero if he wins.

just because guerrero may beat maidana doesn't make maidana a bad fighter, just get that straight. the only fighter at the top who hasn't been beaten is floyd, top fighters lose to top fighters, its boxing, it happens, barrera beat morales, does that mean morales is a bad fighter? cotto beat mosley, does that make mosley a bad fighter? fighters at the top will lose to one another because there is little that seperates them from one another. guerrero beating maidana does nothing to khan's resume because we all know maidana is a top fighter and will continue to be. :deal

 

Maidana is going to surprise a lot of people on here when he beats Guerrero, or maybe Guerrero will be then called a bum or a lightweight who had no chance against a LWW anyway?

I just hope Maidana gets his props when he beats this "great boxer".

 

Ha at thinking Katsidis is better than Maidana or is a tougher fight. Is that why everyone thinks Guerrero will win easy?. There's one round in the RG vs Kat fight where Kat has RG hurt but the ref jumps in and saves him. Maidana punches a lot harder than Katsidis and will stop RG at some point.

Maidana would destroy Katsidis so i wouldn't rate the Katsidis win that highly.
