Looks an average talent to me, and as for these commonwealth games Kenny Anderson won a gold medal. You hardly have to fight the cream of the crop to win these things. No way near as good as Amir who dished up beatings to guys like Haroon fought today, not scraping through on countbacks.

You got to give him some credit, I mean he is trying to make a name for himself outside of his brothers shaddow, He wouldnt have got this chance to be at the commonwealth games if it werent for his Dual Nationality, He proved the critics wrong and won a medal.

His style is completely different from Amir, Amir is a boxer, Haroon is a brawler he looks like he has very good power.

It's pretty obvious he'll be signed with Khan promotions

How did he prove his critics wrong exactly? Because the kid he was snubbed for had to pull out at the last minute...? If they'd have both fought and he won he would have proven the selectors wrong but as it is just suggests to me they had good depth in the English squad at this weight. Yafai has won quite a few tournaments and was seen as the better amateur, he's a European youth finalist, he's been to the Olympics etc.

As for the so called 'bigotry' claim by some, that has to be a complete joke and borderline pathetic considering Yafai is of Yemeni descent himself...

    :deal

I know it's amateur but why not make a Yafia-Khan fight I'm sure TV would be interested. And it would surely put Khan in his place.

No doubt "team Khan" will be looking for a bigger slice of any pie the second time around, and depending on how far he goes this week will also be reflected on/in any contract talks

Maloney will take him if he's looking for a fighter that appears even more below-par than Tony Jeffries.

He's doing well this week, but what I'd like to ask you 'The Rain Man' is what Haroon has to offer the pro game in terms of ability/skillset/potential?

'Cause so far he looks the pits :deal

If Khan goes far, he might not even sign with a british promoter, or even fight on british bills.

I do like Jeffries though, nice enough chap, I was taken in by the 'burger van' tales at the Olympics, hope he turns it around and gets to a good domestic standard.

He isn't as dedicated as his bro, if he was, who knows how good he would be. He's spoilt.
