If Harry Greb had never been born?

    I think he probably does.

    Ironically, Tunney may have got the old Harry Wills in order to set him up for the Dempsey fight. This would have gave Tunney's stock a massive increase also.

    Tunney and Gibbons probably emerge the best.

    I don't think any mw other than Greb was particularly highly regarded during his reign. My guess is belt switches hands a few times until Walker is ready to challenge for it.

    Under no circumstance does Tunney fights Wills. I know people dont shout it as much as they do with Dempsey but Tunney well and truly drew the colour line.

    Actualy Tunney tried to get a fight with Wills.

    This is probably the single case where he would have seen the game as being worth ther candle, in terms of meeting a black opponent
