Its fashionable to say Hatton is **** and overrated and therefore Cotto would have murdered him.

Back in his prime, when Hatton could ship a **** load of punishment and keep coming forward, this would have been a 50/50 fight IMO.

I could imagine Cotto boxing beautifully and then becomig more and more frustrated before Hatton eventually takes his heart. So to speak.

Would have been a great fight. Hatton was a solid 140 fighter in his prime, whereas Cotto was a weight drained (at times very vulnerable) 140 fighter. Hatton could have been troubled by Cotto’s intelligence, and at the same time Cotto could have been troubled by Hatton’s wear and tear wrestling. Hmmm I don't know. I'll go with the following:

    140: Cotto scrapes it
    147: Cotto murders him

At 140 this would have beena great fight. Ricky was calling for him pre- Kosta but Warren refused it. I would actually tip Hatton to win it, i could see him walking cotto down (which is what Hatton was famous for) and causing Cotto real problems in the later rounds

They both equal on chin, power, speed

But Cotto had the better jab and skill, I go with Cotto UD.

Erm yes he was m8. He tried to arrange a fight with Cotto as he believed he could take his heart. When Warren said no, he moved for Kosta

Depends on the ref. If they fight in Manchester, towards the end of Cotto's run at 140 when he was seriously drained Hatton would have had a chance. All the hitting and holding, elbows and headbutts could have dropped Cotto.

Early in Cotto's 140 days, he beats the dog**** out of Ricky no matter where they fight.

Without looking into this, I call bull****. KT is the biggest fight that could possibly have been made for Hatton, and KT doing it in Manchester was like a gift from heaven. The longtime champ of a division isn't second choice for any contender.

Cotto would have beaten the living **** out of Hatton. They never fought because Hatton didnt want the fight.

Prime for prime at 140, would be an all out war! Hard to pick a winner to be honest. At 147 Cotto wins fairly easily.

I do apologise every1, he was calling Cotto out before the Pac fight. The Pac fight was made and he said he would fight Cotto if he won.

    Do apologise.
