I just don't see floyd wanting pac if hatton beats him, no legacy from the fight and alot of money drops out as pac aint p4p number 1.

Good point but there are few fights that Floyd fought which didn't really heplp his legacy

Hatton will probably not win, but if he did (and i'm rooting for him), his resume still does not quite match pacs. take away dlh and yes hatton #1, but that win edges pac over still. but then how do you have pac over hatton if hatton wins...
    i retract. hatton #1.

He wont. If hatton beats pac, then hatton mayweather 2 becomes a distinct possiblity. Floyd is after top money for little risk. And top money is what he will get against hatton just from the UK market alone.

This p4p **** really begins to annoy me...soon, Jones Jr will want to face Pacquiao to be #1 p4p again...
Hatton will NEVER be a better fighter than Pacquiao or JMM.

    The END.

So if Berto were to beat Hatton at 147 lbs, would Hatton not still be better than Berto, p4p?

Yes Pac is still better than Hatton.

Hatton is one of my favourite fighters but he will never have the resume or legacy of Manny.

Well if he beats pacman, marquez and beat pbf in a rematch that might not be the case, i aint saying that is likely but if it did happen.

Oh, and the answer to the thread-Q is Hatton. If he beats Pac & Marquez, he would be my p4p#1... unless Hopkins has beaten Adamek by then!!

That's why I say never. Because I don't think Hatton will ever be able to beat Floyd. Just not a good match up for him, especially if its at 147.
