If Hatton beats no1 JWW contender Pauli convincingly, does he deserve to regain his p4p top ten spot?

A spot he was booted out of when Pavlik beat Locket.

Well Hatton is a former p4p'r but he'd really have to give a hammering for him to get back in the top ten. If it's a grapple fest 12 rounder and work-rate is enough for Hatton, which I suspect will happen, then no.

no i think not..if paulie was top ten and highly rank then there could be a case but paulie doesn't even make top 25 p4p

Yes, but he was kicked out the list by Pavlik beating Locket.

Pauli is the div no1 contender!

OK, using that logic, how many top ten p4p guys has the current p4p no2 beaten? How many had he beaten when he originally made the top ten list?

I think beating Taylor helped him be there. Cotto was still there after beating Gomez. It happens. :good

If he looks good doing it, then a good case could be made for it seeing as how his only loss is against the former P4P #1 in a weight class higher than his best. Hard to tell just how much of the old Hatton is left though, I get the feeling he might only stick around for a couple more fights and he may not have the same fire he did in trying to get the Mayweather fight.
