Yes. I don't see why Hatton is rated as low as he is even. He's beaten quite a few solid fighters in recent years, and his lone loss was against a P4P #1 at a weight 7 pounds heavier than his best weight. His last 7 fights have all been against former titleholders, and he's beaten all but one of them. If he beats the clear #2 in his division, that puts him back in the top 10.

I personaly would say no. I didn't think he was a top ten p4p fighter before he faught Money. But if you go by what some of these idiots at ESB go by then yeah because people have Marogrito in the top ten for beating Cotto. I don't have Margo in the top ten by the way. Two very basic fighters with not alot of boxing skill just heart. Neither of these guys can go up or down one division and look good. Hatton vs Collazo looked horrible and Margo vs Santos looked horrible as well.

Cotto, can't fight at another weight either. The current P4P no 2 has only ever had one fight at another weight, and looked terrible, Pavlik has only ever fought at one weight.... they are top ten p4p...

Yes...I think he's unlucky not be there now TBH. He only lost to the no1 P4P fighter in the world + it was outside his weight class too.

Thanks Sam :good. Boxing lost a hell of a guy when Leavander died, and by keeping that avatar up there, hopefully it can help keep him fresh in people's memories.

I don't think so . . . who is Malignaggi to be a factor at the P4P rankings?

If Hatton captures another legitimate belt after beating Malignaggi then yes he deserves a spot in the p4p top 10.

Sorry ,to say I happen to think that this could only happen if Hatton beat Timothy Bradley convincingly (who i think should be number 2 for beating Witter ) let alone Paulie Malignaggi.Even then Im not convinced Hatton deserves a spot lot of good fighters out there now .

    Using that logic....

Well who the hell is Garry Locket - how many p4p guys has Pavlik beat?

How many p4p guys had the current no 2 beat before he got in there?

If he was P4P top10 before fighting P4P no1 why does he lose his spot for losing to P4P no1? I have mixed feelings on Hatton but this highlights the stupidity of the P4P rankings

I agree, I'm not entirely sure if he should have been in there in the first place - but the way he was booted out...

no way there is a big list of guys that are ahead of paulie p4p and this win (if he wins) can not leapfrog all them guy into p4p
hoya, cotto, margo, mosley or pac man any of these guys will instantly put him among the top dogs

the only reason this is because the top 10 p4p guys at the moment deserve there spots where they are because of tough wins fighting the best opposition possible if guys who lost will be hard to knock of like the marquez bros both guys lost but got rated high even in defeat, on the other hand you have hatton who got knocked the f**k out then

yeah but "knocked the **** out" by the p4p #1 fighter though. cotto just quit against a guy who was barely in the top 25 p4p before he fought cotto, and yet i bet most of the people saying no to hatton still have cotto in the top 10, but hatton lost to a better fighter and has a better win than cotto to a top 3 p4p fighter, cotto's best win was a very close descision against mosely who was just outside the top 10 at the time. so it just showes what bull**** these lists are.
