If Hatton can get to 80% of what he was, he'd compete better with Bradley than Paulie

    Agree or disagree?

I'll wait to see how the poll goes, before putting up my reasons.

Do I have a point? Or do you think I'm crazy? :think

    No.

Bradley KO's Hatton. Hatton is a terrible style match up for Paulie.

I think I see your point, but I'm not sure. Are you implying that Paulie's footwork and speed will be too much for an 80% Hatton to track down and hit, but Bradley is a little easier of a target to find?

Bradley is much more likely to be drawn into fighting a Hatton type of fight.

Paulie has lost to Hatton before, but history forgets that Malignaggi was going through his own mini crisis with Buddy at that point.

Look at the way Paulie fights at 147, how do you see that ending for Hatton?

The same Hatton who went life and death with Luczano? And that was 4 years ago? And he's been KOed viciously since that time. They say Bradley is feather fisted but i never bought into that just like i never bought into the thinking that Ward was feather fisted. You don't get to where these guys are at without having some pop to get some respect. I think Bradley would kill Hatton.

 Yeah ok. There is no such thing as 80% of what he was. You can't go back in time. He'll probably be about 50% of what he was.

  10. I think Bradley would really give Hatton a hard time. He's got the kind of handspeed and footwork that gives Hatton fits.

Malignaggi's handspeed is there, but with absolutely zero pop to back it up and no head movement... Hatton already beat his ass once and this is why.

Whilst Bradley is one of the most adaptable fighters in the whole of boxing,I suspect Paulie's style would actually be the very one that would give him problems, although I do think Timmy would outpoint him.
Paulie at his best is a sort of light-hitting adaptation of Pacquaio's style, with better footwork and slightly better defence(calm down girls.Think about what I'm saying before you put the Thai hit squads on me)
It wouldn't be that different to Bradley-Alexander,where Alexander's accuracy let him down but his jab worked well.Alexander couldn't get his distance right, and if he had,it would've resulted in different scorecards.Paulie can jab from distance very well, and can get in and out just as efficiently.
Hatton would go right into a brawl with Timmy and whilst I would give him a good chance in a shootout 5 years ago,I'd worry about how much he had in the tank and how much punishment he could ship without wilting.

And I've just realised SJS meant who does Ricky fair better against!:patsch:oops:

**** it.Can't be arsed revising my post.

Hatton isn't getting back to 50% of what he was. He's spent what 4 years now eating and drinking the **** he used to between fights and he also has been on coke since then as well? The man is going to get his teeth knocked in.

If he could get to 80% he could do very well against either. He will not be able to do that, he has gotten too fat and Manny messed him up. I think Tim Bradley would beat him now easily, in his prime Ricky would win.

One thing is certain do not let him anywhere near those two Argentine fighters. Lucas/Maidana.
