If Hatton did beat Floyd..

    just out of curiosity, if hatton did beat floyd last december, would you all have considered him the p4p?

    Considering he would have beat the p4p number 1 outside of his best weight division, you would have to.

    Depends on how he won.

    I don't think I would take the crown from Floyd unless he was clearly outboxed for at least a few rounds. If he were to go down from an early flash KO, early stoppage or ref intterferance (similar to how Calzaghe beat Manfredo) I wouldn't knock him out of P4P #1.

    It would be difficult not to give him the title - at very least he would be #2

    If Hatton had have beaten floyd then I would have killed myself...but yeah he would have been no.1.

    he'd go in the top 3, but the didn't get close to winning and never would. So why even ask this?
    what about if Baldmomir had beat Floyd? That's about the same thing.

    like i said, i ask out of curiosity. personally, yes i would have put him at number 1.

    To be fair - at least people had reasons for believing that Ricky could win - I certainly did, though it was more hope than expectation.
