hatton deserves respect for taking chances.

it goes against the grain of too many talented british fighters but he was big enough to want to find out how far he could go.

sure, he caught castillo at the right time. but we didn't really know it at the time and it gave him a whole lot of leverage to make the floyd fight.

THAT'S how you get fights against the big boys.

build up your momentum and fanbase stateside (because thats where the money is), and make yourself marketable enough so that you're a legitimate player.

Actually i want what you're sniffing, if you think theres no way Hatton would win.
    Appears to be good stuff.

Then he's beaten talented fighters who are naturally much smaller than him

Hatton would give Marquez a beat down.

Hatton's too big, too strong and has enough skill to take him.

He's the same height and giving away reach to Marquez, so it's not a mismatch.

hatton has NO CHANCE against JMM
marquez might not be able to stop him but you can be dam sure he will keep tagging him hard all night and probs stop hatton on cuts because he is realy accurate puncher

To beat Hatton, you have to beat him at his own game.

Marquez can't beat Hatton at his own game.

Would like to see how Marquez reacts to getting hit by a strong, 140 pounder as well....

Mayweather did beat Hatton at his own game though.

For 6 rounds, he beat Hatton on the inside.

It was only after he frustrated Hatton on the inside, that he then picked him off on the outside.

Marquez won't beat Hatton on the inside.

the fight was on the inside put a totalt different game to what hatton plays and came out head first right at mayweather and did not land anything
i dont think that is what hatton does, hatton gets tagged, he gets tagged a hell of alot on the inside

There is no fighter that Hatton has fought, that has actually stopped Hatton from fighting on the inside. Mayweather was forced too and it was world class from Mayweather with some very sly/dirty tactics of which Hatton would be proud of.

He's relentless and you have to fight his fight.

A former 130 pounder won't stop Hatton from fighting on the inside, so he has to devise a plan where he'll beat him there. I can't see him doing it.
