I just didn't like Hatton's last few performances and Malignaggi is the fresher of the 2 but if he brakes his hand again,it's all goodnight you guido

People are forgetting Hatton handled Kostya. Just think if he can handle a masterful boxer with extreme punching power in Kostya, what would he do with pac & JMM? Not too long ago people would have laughed at the very notion of Hatton-Pac/JMM fight think its a mismatch in favour of Hatton.

i know he is a tough guy but what about lazcano
i mean to be fair hatton is supposed to be the body punching monster at light welter and he couldnt get this guy down once

if i remember correctly lazcano is not a great puncher and he landed a nice mayweather-esk check hook that had hatton dazed for a little while and i am totaly confident marquez can land punches like that all night he is 10 times the fighter lazcano is

you guys have too please stop living of the kostya fight it was great but come on we have not seen at performance like that again

    tszyu wasn't a masterful boxer.

he was a range-finder with solid power and a head hunter. not that dissimilar to felix trinidad.

Indeed. That was peak Hatton. And it's a downward slope from there.

he's not "gone" because he lost to the best fighter in the world.

he aspired to a different level and found out how good we was.

and i guarantee you he has as much character as anybody he meets for doing that.

i wouldn't count hatton out just yet after poor performances. he didn't do horribly bad vs. floyd, so at 140 i actually do see him rebounding. he's alittle guy so he should handle himself better at 140 and feel stronger, faster, and rejuvenated there. i don't know how his chin would handle manny's or jmm's power or if even those 2 would carry the same debilitating power from their lighter weight classes so that remains to be seen and i don't want to get ahead of my self. the other question many don't bring up is how would manny and jmm handle hatton's or dlh's power. many mention how hatton is ripe for the taking but to be honest well alot of the smaller fighters esp in recent years have been becoming more and more successful at the higher weights. anything is possible

No, he lost to Collazo, looked bad with Urango and got shook up with Lazcano but I don't want to make Ricky look bad cuz I'm a fan but he ain't on that level no more

Tsyzu one of the best amateurs ever was definitely a masterful boxer. His timing and accuracy was levels above Tito's.
