If Hatton had Floyd Mayweather on his ledger, would he rank above Joe Calzaghe?

Well he have Mayweather & Cortez in a handicap match on his resume, like Calzaghe has Hopkins & Cortez handicap match on his.

But no. The Welsh Wizard derailing The Monster known as Jeff Lacy and Prime Kessler was better head to head than drug disgrace Mayweather

 

No. Because Castillo already beat Mayweather. Plus Calzaghe in H2H match ups is almost undefeatable.. I can't think of a fighter from light heavyweight on down to beat him.

 

I favor Calzaghe over Joe Louis too.

Rocky Marcaino proved that Joe Louis can't handle Italian style pressure fighters. Marciano only weighed a little bit more than Calzaghe (but 'Zaggers was taller) and only had a few more knock outs (which probably would've been the same had Calzaghe not smashed his hands multiple times) so I reckon 'Zaggers stops him slightly later. Maybe around the 10th, the ref will have seen enough of the lacying he was witnessing and jumped in to save Louis.

 

Ward would make easy work out of him, and Kovalev would literally send him to the grave. Think about it a 40+ year old man sent his uk glass to the floor, imagine what Kovalev would do.

So being that he is always wrong about British fighters there is no longer any debate. Calzaghe beats Ward and Kovalev. :deal

 

Kameda beat McDonnell twice, and Porter is nowhere as proven as Kovalev and Ward. I had only seen like 2 Brook fights before they fought, and I underestimated Brook's strength, he did fight at LMW, it was a bad judgment call. I've seen all of Calzaghe's best wins, and if 40+ year old man Hopkins knocked Calzaghe's glass down, Kovalev might be sent to jail for killing 2 men in the ring. Ward would just make easy work out of Calzaghe. Too skilled, there's levels to this ****.

 

Absolutely yes.....that would have gave him hufe confidence going into the pacq fight....mayweather theoretically ended hatton. ...even though pacq ko'd him......he fought pacq for last payday. .nothing else

 

Calzaghe is better than Mayweather so no.

It would be a better win by far than anything on Calzaghe's ledger, combined with Zoo, would really make it close. Not sure if it would put him over though. Calzaghe's longevity and has a better stable of wins overall.
