Spot on Southpaw .. The closing rounds to Hatton v Urango was embarassing, Hatton pulled the same move over and over again. A right hand and then grab hold for dear life because he was so tired, it was a god awful performance and for people on here to say 'Hatton Schooled Urango' is incredible. It was actually one of the worst Hatton performance's ive seen and ive seen his entire career.

    No, not exactly.

Urango plods forward with no purpose and misses more punches than Stevie Wonder at front row. He was however better last night for the 9 rounds i stayed awake for, i was so tired i couldnt give them open.

    120-106???? Surely not

I will say something about Urango, him v Malignagi could be worth a watch

As for Hatton, if GazOC actually opened their eyes for 2 seconds they would see how he is flawed, but theres no point. It was proved in the ring once big time already and will be again in a few months...
If ****ing Malignaggi has power he could have hurt Hatton for god sake, he tagged Hatton enough times early on and Malignaggi hasnt boxed well in years..

****ing Urango??? Stop lads, he is hardly Margarito now..more like a poor mans Mayorga

I think the scores in Hatton-Urango tell you a lot about Urango's potential. If his struggles with Ben Rabah did not. How the hell can you win one round vs Hatton? Hatton's a good fighter, but if you have any potential at all you should be able to pick up a few rounds because he gives you chances. Even the likes of Thaxton and Magee achieved that.

Urango is a KO waiting to happen. He will be KO'd or schooled horribly sooner rather than later. I asked whether a Urango win last night would have improved Hatton's resume tongue in cheek, and many seriously do think this adds something :rofl

To add to that, Hatton did look **** beating Urango, if i remember correctly he was ****ed hallfway throw the fight and it was wrestling for most the last part of the fight
I remember thinking similiar to 'if Hatton could box at all he would win this easily'. It was a painful performance from hatton against a lad who was offering little or nothing after 4-5 rounds, Hatton being a wrestler stuck to type and grabbed for the whole fight. If only he had a jab and not a grab he would have looked impressive against Urango.

He was **** that night and i defy any Hatton fan to say other wise, throw in Collazo, Maussa and Lazcano too...

Of course Hatton is flawed, no ones saying he isn't. I don't think he's a P4P ATG I just like the way he comes across and enjoy watching him fight. He's been the top 140 lber in the world now for 3-4 years and thats a pretty decent achievement, no he's not Ray Leonard or Robero Duran but no ones saying he is.

And as for "If Paulie had power"?? What a dumb thing to say:lol:, of course if Paulie had more power it might have been a different fight but he didn't and Hatton won 9 or 10 out of the 11 rounds and became only the second man to beat him and the first fighter to stop him. I know you'll say Cotto ruined him but in between the Cotto and Hatton fights Malinaggi was unbeaten and had picked up a world title.

exactly, his fights stink with all the hugging and wrestling and yet he thinks, in his own cocoon of delusion and arrogance, that he's one of the most exciting fights ever :patsch. You couldn't make it up.

in the mid rounds Urango hurt Hatton to the body with a couple of nothing shots....the hug fest really kicked into to gear after that. Wicky was actually lunging in and grabbing without trying to even throw a punch. **** fight against a another handpicked C class fighter. A win over this boy last night means that he beat another C class fighter...nothing more. 140 stinks these days.

P4P ATG????? Hes barely top 10 P4P now you deluded person.

What could you possibily like about the fakeness of the way he 'comes across' and anyone that likes his style should watch wrestling more often also.
I have seen SRL v Hatton threads i **** you not and oh ya before Mayweather v Hatton, werent there many articles comparing the upcoming fight to another great fight from the past and suggesting a similarity between Hatton and Duran??

Its not a silly statement, he hit Hatton enough (he couldnt miss early on)that if he had any power he would have made a fight out of it. Hatton didnt stop Paulie, Buddy stopped Paulie also.

As for Cotto wrecking his career- i dont think that is true, but whatever mental affect it had Paulie has being poor since.

Why am I the first name on the haters list?

I don't think I ever comment on Hatton's fighting ability, I'm more critical of the tripe that he and Ray spout.
