He wouldn't have got anywhere near Pacquaio or Mayweather.

He would have been beating stiffs in Manchester till he was about 58 if he was still with Warren.

 

Nah, pretty much exactly the same, in terms of the notable fights in any case.

The big money and big opportunity fights were fairly obvious at that point and Hatton brought enough to the table that he could get them - he didn't need Warren for anything, which is the exact point.

If he had stayed with Warren the only thing that would be any different would that he would have less of the money generated and Warren would have more.

 

Brainless. Hatton made upwards of $20 million for the Mayweather fight. What, Warren doesn't like money? :nut

I guess though this is ESB and losers are "exposed", a boxer over 30 who loses is "shot", anyone who doesn't fight the toughest opponent is "cherrypicking".....

 

I'm just trying to point out what would have happened if he would of stayed with Frank, because he was properly hyped up and Frank probably did set him up as a star... And if he stayed with Frank he'd have probably never been allowed into a loosing battle.

I think Frank would have found it hard to turn down the cash for Mayweather? The big difference for me is that Hatton wouldn't have fought Urango, JLC, Collazo in America (a decent set of wins overseas for a Brit fighter), his fights would have continued to be in the UK.

Calzaghe wouldn't have struggled against a fighter of Collazo's quality, even with two broken hands.

Focused Robin Reid, in his prime (focused Robin Reid's absolute and brilliant prime only occured in his fight with Calzaghe -he was never the same before or after the Calzaghe fight).

Also prime Bernard Hopkins (who was P4P top 3 at the time) - Hopkins two most impressive wins are Tarver and Pavlik. Those two performances are more impressive than win over Eastman or smaller fighters like Oscar.
