If Hatton Has No Chance, Why in the Hell Do You Floyd Fans Want the Fight?

He wont get no credit for beating Hatton,he'll have home advantage weight advantage and hype advantage.He is meant to easilyt beat Hatton.

 

Thanks. Ever since PBF moved from 135, his choice of opponents has followed a pretty predictable formula:

1. Get guys who can draw fans and PPV buys, b/c PBF can't (Gatti, DLH, RH)

2. Fight guys past their prime. 34+ years old is the 'sweet
spot.' (Mitchell, Baldomir, DLH)

3. Fight guys coming off of losses (Zab)

4. Fight guys who have shown weakness (RH @ 147) and
make sure you set the terms of the fight with the
conditions best set-up for the opponent's weaknesses
to come out (147)

5. Avoid fights which you could lose (SSM, AM and now, PW,
possibly).


And that's how you get a list of guys like Mitchell, Judah, Baldomir, ODLH and now Hatton. Cherrypicking isn't easy, but PBF's camp is so used to it that it is almost a no-brainer to figure out who they will pick as the next opponent. That's why I always knew Cory Spinks' name would get mentioned (as it has in the past by PBF's team) - he's a light-hitting, low-threat choice. Hatton sucked at 147? Cool. Sign him up!

And you know what the sad part is out of all the guys PBF has fought (other than Mitchell)..a good majority of ESBers picked those guys to upset PBF before the fight. Some people even picked Baldomir to beat PBF because Baldomir would be too big for PBF! Then Oscar, a bigger, more skilled fighter who would be able to trounce PBF. Judah, a fast, powerful fighter who would give PBF all sorts of fits. Floyd could literally fight Klitschko and he will still be accused of ducking somebody else. Very sad..

 

Wrong...not all that many picked Judah or Gatti or Mitchell or Baldomir to win. There were a lot who picked DLH, but ****, he has more groupies then N'Sync did. But at least with DLH, one can see why.
