Spadafora's promoter was/has been content to make fights and make money while not taking his shot as that meANS SPLIT MONEY(with other promoters) and greed and profit can be a powerful aphrodisiac. Again, that incident was JUST THE BEGINNING of the overall scenario which has seen Floyd avoid top opponents. PBF might be starting to REVERSE that trend with hatton and I hope that's the case.

BTW?? Spat didnt fight the top guys at 30 and anything below 35 was too light for him. Its also a major reason why he didnt make th olympics as they pushed him to feather and he was far too drained at that weight. He's actually better suited to 40 given his frame.

 

I don't know who isn't giving Hatton a chance. I certainly do....especially if he comes in at his 140 fighting weight.

Well Hatton is a good fighter with a relentless style. He can get inside on PBF and put some pressure on his forcing him to up his workrate and therefore leave himself open. If he cannot keep up with him and get to the body, he may get cut to ribbons.

Interestingly enough, I am not sure Hatton will be the stronger fighter. He hits harder than PBF. But strength and power are not the same, and I have seen PBF stand his ground and shove some guys around. I think he has alot of strenght in those legs judging from his calf muscles.
