if hatton is able to go up and fight floyd i hope he can fight cotto next....

    no catchweight will be needed, he and his trainer have said this time they will do it properly, hopefully after he wins/loses he will fight cotto.

    Now that's a more "bloody match up" because Cotto never runs and will exchange with Hatton. It has all the marks of being a real slugfest . . . unless Hatton does his clinch and punch strategy. :yep

    Win or lose Hatton should fight Cotto. If he can fight go up to 147 to fight Floyd why can't he stay there to fight Cotto? :bbb

    or he should have went after the fight with cotto instead of floyd.

    I would love to see MC mop the canvas with Ricky that would be fun to watch, Too bad Floyd is going to do it first.

    Hell no. That would be a stupid move. He'll get more money for fighting Floyd and his career won't take much of a hit even if he loses. Although he would stand a better chance against Cotto, that fight would be for less money, and it would mean less for his legacy. Let's not forget that Cotto is a harder puncher and uses some seemingly questionable tactics.
