What do you think his lowest possible weight could have been at the start of his career? Do you think he could have made 130?
He's never been out of shape on fight night though and is a natural but quite big LWW...his issue isn't that he's James Toney on fight night...
Lightweight at best. And that's still being fairly optimistic. Yes he ballooned a ridiculous amount and lacked dedication in that aspect, but if you check his rehydration weights that is always a fairly telling statistic of where a fighter belongs. I remember Manny putting on a sick amount of weight, I think against Marquez at super feather. No surprise he then moved up straight away.
Nah he's been Light Welter all his career. Its not like he's a middle now but if he'd lived better he could be lighter. He'd have probably gone up in weight better and his punch resistance would probably be better now towards the end of his career but NO he'd never really have made 135 or 130.
If Hatton lived like HOPKINS then there would be no excuses for all you hattons for him being totally outclassed by elite fighters. For many years people have told him to eat healthy foods when not in training camp but the arrogant **** doesnt listen. Did any of you see him on that gordan ramsey show. Showed how much of a twat he is when he wouldnt consider changing his lifestyle Hopefully he will have learnt his lesson by now. If i see him balloned up again if he continues to fight then i will have lost all respect for him as he makes the sport of boxing look embarressing due to his lack of dedication.atsch
