Will he retire? I think he would consider it. I don't see Hatton as the type to stay around if he didn't feel like he could beat the best. If he lost to Malignaggi do you think that Hatton would feel like his time had passed?

If he loses via anything but an unlucky cut or 'iffy' decision then he'll probably retire.

No disrespect to PM, but i feel hatton shouldn't be losing to someone like him........so yes if he does lose he should hang em up. Altho if its a contraversial loss on points, then maybe he'll stick around.

If he loses i think he'll hang em up himself, his lifestyle is quickly catching up with him. Tho of recent i believe he is trying to address his life outside the ring to prolong his career.

Ricky said so himself he will most likely retire if he losses.Depends on what manner though.A robbery or a first round KO will make him fight again.

Originally wasn't very excited for this fight, but as it nears I'm more intrigued. I'm especially intrigued to see how Hatton looks with Senior as his trainer. It seems so late in his career to be doing the things he is doing now. If he has any kind of transformation with success I will be very impressed. Even if he is in better shape and doesn't grapple as much as he has been lately, the fight will be more entertaining then his recent efforts.

If he loses tonight then it really is over for him at the top level of boxing. He might retire straight away, or more likely he would have a farewell fight in Manchester and then call it a day.
    But, that is the negative.
If he wins, which he should, then he is all set for a superfight against Oscar or Pac.
    Good luck to Ricky!

hell atleast give collazo a rematch and put some closure on the first fight

If he loses I think it's pretty obvious there will be a rematch with Paulie. No matter what he says, that's what will happen.
