He is seriously bad, he is the new Gavin Rees. A chap who got lucky and became a belt holder.

The only time he stepped up against Cotto and he was given a sound beating.

I know where you are coming from, but then Clinton Woods fans may say he fought RJJ (when Jones was in his prime), same with Ashley fighting Nunn.

The only person I can think who kicked **** in the USA was Honeyghan but then Curry was on the slide.

Thats the thing Haye has big bollacks and is not scared to go after the best. Hatton gives it the big talk but does not have the balls to back it up. If he said tomorrow that he was ready to fight the best and if that was Cotto then so be it I would not be critical of him. If him and Ray want to sell us maligfaggot as no.2 then they can both stick the fight up their rear cavity.

As for your second bit, no thank you I would rather cut my bollacks off and have them stuffed than bat for the other side. Plus the kids would not be too happy having a wonky father :patsch .

I agree entirley but you cant deny Hatton has had a bash thats all im saying!Had he not been with Warren 3 years to long he probably would have achieved a bit more but at least he had the balls to break the shackles and have a go.And whether or not he would lose to Cotto and Mayweather there is no shame in that because eveybody else would.Ricky Hatton is not the best there is but he is still world class and the best in his division weak or not.

Thats exactly it, if he fought them and put up a good fight then even if he lost I would not have a problem. If he got schooled like in the PBF fight then that is nothing to be ashamed of or to boast about.

Thats why I fail to see why him and Ray lined up Maligfaggot months ago. The fight makes no sense as Maligfaggot is no better than some of the lads Hatton beat in his WBU days.

I think most people's problem with Hatton is not to do with the fighting.

Thats right more to do with him trying to sell us fights against the likes of Malignaggi as him fighting the best out there.

His hardcore fans may fall for it and boast about malignaggi being no.2 in the Ring Magazine ratings but not all of are gullible.

I actually like Hatton, the guy apparently does work for charity etc and does not boast about it. Thats what you call sincere and humble. This is unlike Khan who would not wear a charity t-shirt at a relief camp after some ****** in his entourage reminded him of a reebok contract and handed him a brand new reebok t-shirt (Khan was ready to wear the charity t-shirt till the ****** intervened).

But then hes between the devil and the deep blue sea isnt he!Smash the number 2 in his division who isnt very good or step up to Welterweight and lose to Cotto or Mayweather! He cant really win can he?Personally i would dust Malignaggi, then still get it on with Witter and and have a retirement fight with Pacman. If he was to win them 3 then hes had a great career.I dont really see what else he can do.Just accept the fact that he reached world level, brought us some entertaining fights and was one of Britains better fighters! Not a bad resume even if he wasnt the best.

I dont think the Witter fight means much either besides being a battle of Britain, Hatton should be calling out the likes of Cotto, Judah etc etc to step down to 140. If they refuse then you can't blame Hatton. If they agree then we see Hatton fight the best and that would be fantastic. If he beats them then that is even better and he gets to retire having beaten real rated fighters in their prime.

For me world level is JC type performances, Lacy rated the dogs gonads till JC schooled him and destroyed him mentally, Kessler another masterclass from JC. Yes JC has faced some shitty fighters but he stepped up and beat fighters ranked highly by a number of bodies/orgs.

In my opinion and I watch fighters very closely Hatton's performance against the handpicked and diminished but game Lazcano is a cause of concern. While I predicting Hatton's demise against PBF etc, his performance against Lazcano shows me that Hatton is now a fighter irreparably in decline. Malignaggi might be a good fight for him as Malignaggi does not punch hard. Hatton will definitely lose to Ajose Olusegun, Devon Alexander and Dersert Storm Bradley. I think his best bet is to get a win in Madison square Gardens against Malignaggi later this year, then get stopped again more brutally by PBF maybe in Wembley and a final farewell fight in Manchester in against a handpicked opponent and retire and go into promoting full time with the millions he has made. Forget about being a trainer.

Good call, if Hatton calls out the likes of Cotto down to 140 if they take it or dont you cant knock him for calling, as you say if they do then at least he fighting the finest.

This is how bad Paulie is.

Even after his **** performance against Bradley i'd still rather see Hatton fight Witter.

Paulie is still a boring as hell fight and he he still lost his IBF title to Herman.

I'd much rather see Hatton fight Bradley or Ortiz.

Bradley be a good fight, but i think Paulie good for Hatton though coz he beats him, claims title and gets to top the bill at the Garden, im sure he fancies that ticked of his to do list.

    Then Bradley for a war
