    :huh

I think people are getting carried away by both of these fighters last performances. The fact is hatton is still undefeated in this weight class and pac has never actually fought at 140. So regardless of what people think that pac is the current p4p king this fight is really up for grabs.

This is a 50-50 fight IMO. The fighter who can impose his style through out the fight will win it!

    what you think?

At first I was completely confident in a Pacquiao victory, but the more I think about it I think that you're right, it's a 50-50 fight.
If Hatton is able to impose his will on Pacquiao, it will be a very long night for PacMan, and vice versa.

I will be surprised if Hatton wins. Regardless of the fact that he's undefeated at this weight, the fact is that Pacquaio is the number one fighter in the world, he's gotten better and better with each fight he's had, and simply put he's a 10x more skilled, more well-rounded fighter than Hatton. And I'm a fan of both fighters.

Pacquaio's also just a total warrior, he's always got a huge will to win, and he fights to the very end. I just don't see how Hatton can beat him. All this talk about Mayweather Sr. bla bla is just hype. Getting a better trainer may help but it's not going to suddenly turn you into an uber-fighter in less than a year.

This fight is a 50/50 fight. Pac Man hasn't fought anyone live north of 130 and he is not the best fighter Hatton has faced. However, Hatton's display of "Boxing skills" during the Mallignaggi fight has been amazingly over exgaggerated and Pac Man has the ability to make him look VERY ordinary.

This whole fight depends on the trainers. Who is most likely to come up with the best tactics for thier guy? If I had to opt for one I'd go for Roach but Hatton, unless he has become an old man in the last 4 1/2 months, may just be too big for Pac.

    Not really.

Both have plenty of things that will trouble the other - things for and against.

Hatton has seldom looked good against a southpaw
Pac hasn't fought a quality live opponent above 130
Both are vulnerable to the body
    Both are fairly heavy handed
    Both are vulnerable to cutting

It's surprising the lack of hype toward this one in the UK, but then again there isn't a real edge between them..... more with the trainers but nobody can really understand a word either of them say and just laugh!

    NO...

As far as the thread quetsion goes, no, it wouldn't be much of an upset if Hatton won. In my eyes it's more a 50/50 fight. Maybe leaning towards Pac slightly at 55/45... but even still a win for either guy is a very real possibilty and I personally don't think anyone is getting KOed here. My thoughts is whoever wins won't win it by more than a 7 rounds to 5 margin on the scorecards.

I wonder how many of the people who voted no thought Hatton had a good chance against Mayweather.
