i think that was more a case of people wanting hatton to win so much, they fooled themselves into believing he would.

this fight seems a bit more even, especially since hatton has the size advantage in this one.

I thought Hatton had little to no chance of beating Mayweather, and I accurately predicted a late rounds stoppage for Floyd in that fight.. but Manny is a completely different fighter with a very different style, and a fighter that Hatton possesses a slight size and strength advantage over. Pac will not be somekind of master boxer in there who Ricky will have to track down while getting hit on the way in. No, Manny is an attacker just like Hatton and in this fight these two aggressive bulls will collide. :bbb

Not an upset at all. I'm predicting Hatton to win this one.

Nope... Hatton's style was absolutely tailor made for a slick boxer the likes of Mayweather... not for an aggressive in and out attacker like Manny. Like I said before, with two in your face styles like that both men are bound to collide and have plenty of opportunities to score on each other. Win or lose, by the end of this fight Pac will take about as much as he gives.

 I doubt it buddy. I think come fight time you'll see how I'm more in the right.. but obviously if Pac wins there's no way in hell you'll ever see how much you overrate and slobber all over the guy. Now that's a damn shame.

The closer we are to the fight the more I think Hatton will win. I had the opposite feeling with Taylor - Froch though. haha - so lump on late stoppage for Pacman.

j.r. i think you are underestimating pacs talent. You talk as if he's some average come forward fighter, neglecting to take in account his boxing skills, and his overall talent. Overall, he's head and shoulders above ricky in just about every area. On paper, this is almost a mismatch. On May 2nd, your gonna see what the difference is between a come forward brawler, and an aggressive/skilled technician.

I knew Hatton had no chance against Mayweather. I had money on Mayweather rnds 7,8,9 and i'm a Hatton fan so was a double looser:|
But i give Hatton more than a decent chance against a fighter unproven above 130.

I'd say anyone being a 3 to 1 favorite or heavier being beat is an upset. PacMan is about a 3 to 1 favorite, so it'd be a borderline upset.
