    will mexican fight fans embrace him or will thye claim his win a win for mexico.

    i only ask this because he seems to be very close with MAB and if i remember right MAB swore him in as a mexican.:think

    hmm says...... I'm thinking it's like a 50/50 split. I know some that want Pac knocked out but some like him cause he fights "like a Mexican warrior". But either way, no doubt this fight will draw an audience from Mexico. I'm gonna go look at Hatton's record and see if he fought some mexicans..... this is a weird topic hehe.

    I'm thinking if Hatton ever fights JMM and happens to win, Mexicans won't embrace him hehehe... I guess........:/

    castillo was the only one but then i swore i herd the Mexicans in the back round sing Blue moon and there's only Ricky HAtoon after he Ko'd Castillo

    Well, I was in Mexico not too long ago with my wife who is from the Phillipines. We went to a bar and we watched the Margarito vs. Cotto fight there. While there, a lot of guys asked where my wife was from and then when I said Phillipines a lot of them started talking about Pacquiao and how they admire how he fights just like a Mexican. I believe that it will be a split somewhere around 60-40.

    Hatton has a huge fan base in Mexico as they see him as fighting the Mexican way.
    I don't think he is as reserved and a bit too wild for the best of the Mexican group but you cannot deny that he will never take a backwards step.
