Where does it place him in the ATG list?

Here you have 2 dominant guys, who have utterly dominated the heavyweight division for the bones of a decade. Destroyed top 10 fighter and top 10 fighters for years on end,and who despite their advancing years, still seem near the peak of their powers

If Haye somehow manages to defeat both of them next year, surely this would place him pretty highly??

Sure it can be argued that this era hasnt been awash with great fighters, but the fact is that they have beaten pretty much everyone put in front of them, and tghey've fought the best of whats out there.

We can't even be sure the Klit brothers are anywhere near the top 10 ATG list, considering their career isn't over yet. If Haye beats both of them once and then retired on the spot, how on earth would that make him a top 10 ATG?

It would make him an interesting, memorable quirk fighter, but nobody who'd be mentioned in the ATG lists.

If Haye accomplishes that feat, I promise to never ever post on ESB again. Haye will never beat either Klitschko.

I'm not a Klitschko fan. Neither one of them. They have beaten what passes for heavyweight boxers for the past decade but the pickings in terms of skilled opponents facing them has been pretty dismal. That is not their fault, but in my opinion, they will not make my Top 10 list for that very reason.

I think what I find most detracting is their style of fighting. It is about as interesting to watch as grass growing or paint drying.

if he beats both Klitchkos he will be a serious player and probably he will have a claim to be the best HW in the next decade

The funny thing is that he had this opportunity written in his contract twice but he turned the contracts down just because he was 'forced' to fight both klitchkos ... now he want to have this opportunity by himself?
