Would the Sky team - Johnny Nelson, Adam Smith and Glenn McCrory etc, be calling it a disgrace to British boxing if the fight was on their channel? Are they calling it a disgrace soley because it's on a rival boxing channel? I personally don't think the brawl was THAT bad. It was embarssing but I've seen far worse things happen at a press conference. For example Riddick Bowe randomly hitting Larry Donald with a two punch combo at a pre fight press conference and as far as I know that fight still went ahaead. I agree with the rant Adam Booth had at the Haye/Chisora press conference, their has been a big overeaction to the brawl in Munich. And I just read a thread on the Brit forum with a poster saying he is dreading Ringside because they will constantly slate the Haye/Chisora fight and I agree with him - It will p*ss me off if Sky have a go at this fight after they dropped Hatton by Email. Anyway, let me know what you think. Cheers.
Sky really need to stay out of this one, anything they say leaves them open to accusations of jealousy/bitterness etc. Of course they'd have doen the fight if given the opportunity, they're all about the money, bottom line, otherwise why charge PPV?! No one comes out of this better than anyone else, people in glass houses and all that................
Of course they wouldn't. But by the same token, you can expect Steve Bunce to back this because he works for BoxNation. If he was on SKY he'd be against it. IF Hearn or Maloney or Hennessey was promoting Chisora, Frank Warran would be calling it a disgrace. :deal :good That's how business works.
